DHL Distribution

The project comprised a warehouse totalling 9,000 square metres with 10 metre high eaves and corporate office of 600 square metres. The estate was developed by the local authority and external building appearance was a priority. Tilt up concrete facades were heavily articulated with jointing, corrugated formwork and distinctive colour scheme. ESD initiatives included incorporation of natural light and ventilation, banking warehouse lights, energy efficient lighting, insulation and water recycling. Vehicle circulation studies were undertaken to maximise efficiency of movement within the site.
