Passive and active environmentally sustainable design principles where integral to the project including photovoltaics to generate power for common areas and building lighting, water harvesting for irrigation and toilet flushing and selection of low embodied energy materials.

Elysium is a 27 Ha residential community consisting of 158 lots which was reinvigorated by this small but significant facility designed to complement 31 architecturally designed houses existing on site.
