Biscoe Wilson Architects were commissioned to design a family home in rural Queensland. Naturally, it was important for the client to have a direct connection with the outdoors. The design maintains views to the mountain from living and dining rooms. The stacked rooves allow for changes in scale and opportunities for high windows, while referencing the natural form of the mountains beyond. High ceilings and high windows allow views to the sky while ensuring cross ventilation and ample natural light throughout the seasons.
