Biscoe Wilson Architects, having worked with Bulimba State School over a number of years, developed a master plan to assist the school and P&C Association in realising the school’s potential in coming years. Through the preparation of a Master Plan, Bulimba State School aims to create the best possible learning environment for its staff and students into the future.
The physical environment should foster the development of students with the aim of helping students to become, “Healthy Citizens, Informed Citizens, Creative Citizens, Democratic Citizens and Eco-Citizens”. The Bulimba State School environment should facilitate community relationships within the school and with the wider community. We have developed a three Dimensional CAD model of the site and buildings. This model will remain a live planning resource that the school can utilise.
Bulimba State School received the Premiers Sustainability Award for Schools in 2013.
